MÜSİAD UK recently brought together distinguished leaders from the worlds of academia, diplomacy, entrepreneurship, and business in a landmark event held in Newcastle, highlighting the city’s rising profile as a hub for international cooperation.

With over 300 Turkish businesspeople now based in the Newcastle region, the event served as a powerful platform to:

  • Deepen economic ties between the United Kingdom and Türkiye

This dynamic gathering showcased MÜSİAD UK’s ongoing mission to empower entrepreneurs and expand its footprint beyond London.

Appointment of Newcastle Regional Manager

During the event, Chairwoman Av. Türkan Akbaş officially appointed Mr Şahin Gülmen as MÜSİAD UK’s Newcastle Regional Manager, congratulating him for his dedication and thanking him for his significant contributions to the success of the event.

MÜSİAD UK continues to be a leading voice for entrepreneurs and SMEs across the UK. The next major stop on this journey will be a private roundtable at the UK Parliament on 25 June, where MÜSİAD UK will present members’ key expectations and proposals regarding the UK–Türkiye Free Trade Agreement.
